Was very disappointed that the only option to correct non working running boards was to replace them totally at a cost of $2400.00, when we already spent $1600.00. Had this same issue on another Toyota vehicle where we were told that the whole transmission needed replaced at a cost of $2800.00. My husband took it to a transmission place and had it repaired for $650.00.
It would seem that Toyota’s fix is to just replace vs repair...is it for the money or inexperienced mechanics??
