Hello- Today I visited WIN Chevrolet for the first time since I leased my vehicle there on 1/23/2020. The service team did a software update on my car and rotated my tires for $40.00. I was told to come back to have the battery replaced when the part comes in. I was not told when this battery replacement service would take place. It is important to point out that my 2020 Chevy Bolt has been a terrific vehicle for me & my family. No problems of any kind, including no problems whatsoever with the battery. Today, my experience with the service at WIN Chevrolet resulted in my battery life being reduced to 85% of its current capacity and tires rotated for a cost of $40 on a car I bought 2 years ago for this very dealership. Following that, I was told I had to come back for a subsequent visit to have the battery replaced. My experience today at WIN Chevrolet begs the question….could I not have just come in for a battery replacement and software update on the same visit? Additionally, I’ve never had to pay to have my tires rotated at a dealership where I’ve bought or leased a car. In fact, this is the third car I’ve leased from WIN Chevrolet. But after today’s experience, I can’t say I’m encouraged to pursue business here once my lease expires. When I double-checked with my service agent to make sure I owed $40 for tire rotation, he assured me that this was, in fact the case. I have been a customer at WIN Chevrolet since 2013 and have never been asked to pay to have my tires rotated. It left a bad taste in my mouth. My negative reaction to today’s visit was compounded by previous experiences with my last two leases from this dealership that fell far short of expectations as well. My 2016 Chevy Volt “died” and had to be sent back to Detroit because WIN Chevrolet could not fix it due to a complete computer system failure. At no point did Win Chevrolet reach out to accommodate me. Rather, they just asked me what else I would like to lease since my 2016 Volt could not be repaired. Luckily, I had already taken a shine to the 2018 Chevy Bolt. As a commuter with an extremely heavy workload, I do not have the luxury to deliberate or haggle or even complain. I had to make a decision on the spot. I was fortunate to be able to get into another vehicle the same day I was told my 2016 Chevy Bolt was not serviceable. I don’t make a habit of complaining, but my experience with the service department today was so dramatically unspectacular, that I felt it deserved some special attention. Sincerely, Andrew D

I believe that the low oil pressure problem was not diagnosed correctly. The engine did not need to be replaced for the system to work properly. Replacing the oil filter resolved the problem.
