I brought my car to be serviced which cost me $840 including $155 for diagnostics . I pick the car up Tuesday evening and by Wednesday morning the check engine light was on and I had to pay another $155 to do second diagnostics on car I was told that it was not the mechanics fault I have reasons to disagree .

I purchased a certified used Toyota in Feb 2021. I took it in for needed service in Aug 2021. I was told that my warranty was good for 24 months the warranty called Toyota care and when I got to the service desk yesterday I was told that that warranty was no longer effective and I had to pay for all the work that was being done. No indication whatsoever where that dating came in to play my mileage was way beyond that limit and if the time limit was expired that was never explained. I was under the impression after my last visit in August 2021 that my next visit would’ve been ““ free of charge ““ saying I was way under the mileage requirement. I inquired with the sales person and you know not much was really given I have no idea when my original warranty started the original warranty that I assumed when I purchased a car please respond with an explanation thank you

I was told to come in early to avoid the waiting time of the tech going to lunch and it still went into the tech lunch time so overall the appt took 2 1/2 hours for just an oil change. If I had known I would have chose a later time.
