I have lost my confidence in Henry Brown. Drove car today and there was a heavy smell of antifreeze from the outside not in the cabin. I was waiting for a prescription at the pharmacy and the heat gage went up to hot. Turned off car for few minutes.Started car and it was still reading hot. All of a sudden gage went to normal. Worry that this may happen again. Not sure if car is fixed. I also have another concern about what I was charged. The first invoice due to car overheating i was charged for coolant flush, a lot of labor to clean the radiator and new coolant. First time I drove it afte repair engine light came on. Ran a few errands took it back agter 31 miles to find out radiator had leak and had to be replaced. Why did I pay for a lot of labor, cleaning the radiator good and new coolant when the part was no good? I feel the dealer should have compensated me pn some of these costs. After 31 miles charging me for new coolant. I am not blaming the mechanic for not finding a small leak but the dealer should be fair to a customer for paying for a repair on a broken part that had to be replaced is just wrong.

This is second time I've had Joe as a service rep, both for warranty issues. Both times I've been initially discouraged from having my vehicle serviced by Henry Brown - warned of at least two days from drop off before the vehicle will even be seen - with an appointment. Both the issues with my truck precluded an alternative and needed to addressed - it was not safe to operate the vehicle. And when I've inquired about a loaner vehicle or rental being told none are available. My most recent issue was after the bumper to bumper warranty, but I have a platinum level extended warranty - that includes rental. When I told Joe this, he indicated I would have to arrange this. This is not the correct process and have never heard that the customer is responsible for this (the warranty was purchased through GMC).He stated loaners are only provided during the bumper to bumper warranty, again, based on my years (decades) of experience with GM, is wrong. I left the truck to be fixed without a means of transportation for potentially up to two days, based on the statements made by Joe. This impacted my work day and had the potential to impact multiple work-days. In the lot at Henry Brown, I saw many loaner vehicles parked. I inquired with the service manager Jeff Martin shortly after I left and received a message a loaner car could in-fact be arranged and he had available loaner vehicles on the lot which completely contradicted the statements made by Joe.I had already arrived at work (late mind you) that was in another city and couldn't return to get a loaner. In the end the issue with my truck was a recall/warranty issue - which could have entitled me to a loaner. I am extremely disappointed in the low level of service provided and will not recommend nor use this service rep or dealer for service. I am looking for an SUV to purchase and was considering a Yukon, but will now reconsider based on these two extremely negative experiences.
