I was completely satisfied with the service to my vehicle and he service I received from Mike Meade, as usual. I was not satisfied with my arrival. I pulled into express service and someone came out to ask if I had an appointment. I said I didn’t and that I normally work with Mike Meade. “Ok. He’s just finishing his lunch break so it might be a little while,” was the verbatim response and then the attendant walked off to the next car. Now it was over 110 degrees and I stood there for about 5 minutes before I walked into the building. Mike was finishing his lunch and making calls to other customers (he did see me and I didn’t want to interrupt him.) About 7 other service folks were all on the other side (I guess the south side of the room) grabbing food out of a bag and having fun. Not a single one greeted me or asked if I needed help. I may not have existed. I walked back outside and then flagged someone down that happened to come outside. I told him I didn’t need Mike for someone to take my keys. They could let Mike know I was there. At that point, someone checked me in and then took my keys to Mike. I could have walked over to Mike but I wanted to understand what was going on. One of the technicians that was taking cars into the back for service had his mask hanging off one ear as well. In the literature that’s been sent from Henry Brown, I’ve read about how the service department is going to extra lengths to keep things clean. That technician made the company look like a liar. It’s easily coach able and I only bring it up because feedback that’s executed upon is powerful in customer service and I’m sure Henry Brown GMC will act.
