I was perturbed when I needed a new battery for my 1 yr old key fob. Yes my edge is a 2020 but I bought it brand new 12.27.2020. It only had 3.6 miles on it. But anyway, when I came in to get a new battery, they charged me $5.36 for it. The reason why I was perturbed is b/c they charged me the $5.36. I told them that I have an Audi & when I needed a new battery for the key fob, the dealership did not charge me for the new battery. The service person of Capital City, said well what was the cost of the Audi to the Edge? I didn’t replied to add to his comment. It doesn’t matter the cost of each vehicle. So charging the $5.36 to replace a battery that only cost you the dealership prob a penny doesn't make since to make customers happy. If the Audi dealership doesnt charge then you can too.
