Dropped car off due to transmission light coming and and car lunging forward when you come to complete stop. Was told repairs were going to be $4k. Car was repaired earlier this year for similar problem and was fixed under recall. Car has less than 4,000 miles since recall. Service was terrible and it took a week and half for service to look at car and charged me for something they already knew what the problem was. I google the problem and find it is a common problem because of terrible engineering and Ford is aware of the transmission and cable corrosion. I am going to follow the advise of the online groups and file a complaint so that other people who by your cars don’t have to feel this level of frustration.
