Dropped car off early in the morning. At the end of the day, I was notified that the part needed was on back order and did not know when it would be available. There was about a 10 delay from when I made the appointment and when the appointment was available. I was told it was ok to drive the car for a few days but to limit my driving. Now it seems I’ll be waiting a bit of time for the part to arrive but was still assured that the car was safe to drive and there would be no damage to the car. Based on the two comments, I’m confused if it’s really safe to drive.
