I was surprised to hear that it is required by the dealership to replace front rotors whenever front brake pads are replaced even if this is the first time that the front brake pads are due for replacement.

It took months to get my car fixed because for some reason the mechanics were unable to identify the underbody trim panel that needed to be replaced. After the fact I checked the documentation available on Erwin and I am puzzled how it was impossible to not knowing what part was needed right away. Anyway, my service advisor was great and kept me informed and gave me a slight discount on the labor and part cost.
