My concern is with the previous service performed on the car. They didn’t check the work and as a result I have ugly oil leaks all over my driveway. It turns out that the issue with the washer was known. Why didn’t they fix before releasing the car? I ended up taking time (4 hours) off from work to take the car back which cost me money.

My experience started out very pleasant. Then it was no longer pleasant. I had work done a week prior and spent about $1000 getting my car ready to get a smog. I was told at that time that my left power steering boot was damaged and they would need to order the part and I also wanted my rear window fixed as well and he needed to order that part also. I would replace my battery when I came back on Wednesday. I bought my battery in 2020 of August and I was told since we were in October and two months over the three-year mark I would have to pay 50%. That didn’t sit right with me; but ,OK ,no problem. I was also told I would have to pay 100% of the labor cost that seem weird to me but no problem. Then I was told the battery was no longer at the price that I purchased it for and my 50% refund would be at the old price, but my cost for the battery would be at the current price. That sounded weird to me but OK , so I left and went over to the Spectrum; watched a movie, had lunch and did some work. When I returned I was then informed that he needed to pay another $30 on my bill $1,400+ bill for some CCP charges that were adeed due to the battery being processed under warranty. This additional $30 charge was suspicious; especially since he was using a calculator to determine how much my bill should be instead of the computer automatically adding the charge. I refused to pay it. I told him to take that new battery out of my car put my old battery back in. I would then check around and purchase a battery somewhere else. I was not gonna keep paying made up fee charges because that’s what it seemed like he was doing. especially since he had to add on the extra $30 using a calculator. Then we came to a resolution, and I decided to keep the battery. Then he informed me that the reason that my car did not pass smog was because of a faulty emission part that is under warranty. He then informed me that that part is on back order, but if I was willing to PAY, they could clean out that part of all the carbons and whatever whatever whatever, and put it back in my car, and it may or may not pass smog… Why would I pay you to clean a part that may or may not pass a smog test that would be the height of stupidity on my part. So I told him no . I said I will take the information and I will go from dealership to dealership until I find somebody with a part or even an independent contractor. That being said, I proceeded to sign the paperwork, saying that the work that I asked for was completed with the exception of what we talked about. A few minutes later, he approached me and said he Must have gave me his signed copy because he can’t find his signed copy of the work order. He then ask me to sign another copy of the paperwork… I told him no I wasn’t signing another copy he needed to find his copy. Why was I signing another copy because he missed placed it; if he missed placed it then he should be able to find it. It should be somewhere back in his work orders… Finally after going back-and-forth I took pity on him and I signed the work order and then I went back and I wrote,” duplicate copy because he says he lost the first one.”I was quite put out by this time, and wondering upon the competency of the dealership. Especially after asking me to sign another workorder, and it didn’t even have duplicate written on it. I don’t know what he could or could not do with this paperwork, but it had my whole work order on it , anyway I was not happy. I was not satisfied. I also will not be back to your location!! That was a horrible horrible experience after spending $1000 there a week prior your manager, and employee are going to be really petty about two months and charge me 50% that’s fine but then they want to add on all these other fees on top of the battery that’s not fine… Coming there that day and having to spend 900 and change on my window kit and another $689 for the left boot on my car to get fixed fine …it was not OK that they wanted to nitpick about two months,and charge upgraded fees. so yeah not happy with the service at Norma Reeves. I have been to this location before and had marvelous service no complaints;this time however, lead me to the conclusion that I won’t be back

I had an appointment for Wednesday morning at 8:30 and did not receive the car back until the following Monday. The paperwork said it took an hour and a half of labor. If you do not have the time to work on the car, at least have enough courtesy to contact the owner and schedule a later date so the owner is not car-less for 5 days.
