I recently purchased a black 2015 q50 base with the 3.7 vq37vhr. I brought the car in for a service because there was a big loss in power and it was having trouble even merging on the highway. These problems should have be fixed prior to purchasing. It's been what maybe a week and the same problem persists. Not even 1k miles into this car....so I decided to pop the hood thinking maybe the air filters are dirty, low and behold I find a ziptie holding the air filter in place to the air box. A ziptie??!? A ZIPTIE??? Seriously?? This is unacceptable. This is supposed to be a respectable infiniti dealership and service. The actual dealership who I should trust and not have to follow behind and double check. I am shocked and appalled this is coming from the actual infiniti DEALERSHIP, not a mom and pop used car dealer on the edge of the middle of nowhere, not some random repair garage guys zip ties. I very familiar with the cars powertrain and engine this is my 3rd car with the same engine from the same brand. I love the Infiniti brand and am extremely disappointed with this service. I cannot express how much shock and disappointment i have with this service at this dealership. This, Infiniti is how people get deterred away. My trust is broken, what would have happened if I didn’t get this double checked? Just keep bringing my broken car back to the service center to only leave with the same problem? I’m truly in a state of shock. I cannot believe I was dupped by one place who should know and have everything needed for their most popular car selling platform. Please solve this issue Infiniti so I can continue to promote the power luxury low barrier of entry and most importantly RELIABLITY of this failing nissan brand I love so much and hope can make a come back to mainstream.
