Horrible customer service. The entire team at Santa Margarita Ford is incompetent and incapable, even in understanding the simplest timeline. Fords faulty transmission programing undeniably caused my vehicle to sustain damage as the sudden downshift in gear at highway speed traumatized the transmission nearly causing a multi car accident. Ford Owner website clearly states that any damage caused by the faulty programming will be covered and serviced as priority. The vehicle is still within the transmission recall warranty 10 years or 150,000 miles and it’s programming failure directly caused the damage to my transmission. RSM Ford is so poorly run that instead of listening to the customer, the service advisor Duane hastily denied the fact my vehicle had experienced the sudden downshift but simultaneously admitted something was wrong with the transmission. He also claimed the reprogramming would fix the sudden downshift... that is the least of my concern considering I have already experienced the traumatic down shift and the vehicle sustained damage directly because of it. After proving the vehicle had clearly sustained damage directly from the faulty programming causing the sudden downshift and near vehicle crash, He then threw out a ballpark estimate of $3,900.00 to “figure it out” as I wonder how could you possibly have an estimate when you haven’t even dropped the transmission pan to investigate and do not have a clear understanding of the vehicles actual condition. Simply guessing something is wrong and offering to fix nothing for around 4,000.00 is not the sign of a trustworthy mechanic. It’s obvious the Failures operating RSM Ford will do anything to avoid honoring Ford Owner Warranties and servicing vehicles ethically. Santa Margarita Ford was so unprofessional it felt like a scam. I have spoken with Ford directly and they connected me to a different location. I am already having a better response from a more legitimate Ford Dealer who is capable of listening and understanding the series of events that lead up to my vehicles current condition. Ford is sending people out on the road in ticking time bombs, putting their customers lives at risk, and attempting to collect money for damages it’s faulty programming causes. FORD has failed me and 1.5 million other customers who mistakenly purchased their dangerous faulty products.

Prices quoted at the time of visit was not the total emailed to me after we had left your facility. And had emailed back, he Miguel states we must have misunderstood. But yet he had stated it out loud to us. The total difference was at least $350 difference

I asked you guys to fix the rear signal light and no one fix it. When I asked the service guy why it wasn’t fixed after I texted, he said oh that’s just an automatic text service., But it says if you need any questions, send us a text. I responded asking to please fix the light. Bummer.
