So there's a hissing sound when I excelerate on the gas pedal. That's a new sound coming from the passenger side engine. Plus my engine light came on again so obviously that's not good. I will talk to the service department tomorrow and hopefully we can resolve this issue.

Even though John was very knowledgeable and professional, we feel the repair estimate was excessive due to the low mileage of the car. Clearly we have had the car in for service more than once with this same problem. The "check engine" light has been an issue for a long time. We sincerely believe it is a problem that VW should remedy, without cost to us.
