On Friday 6/25/11, I was contacted by Toyota advising me that the spare key for my new Prius had arrived. I was then transferred to a scheduling assistant who advised that the pairing process of the new key would take ~1 hour and provided me with a time slot of 12:45pm for that day i.e. 6/25/21. When I arrived for this appointment, Charles Colamarino checked in my vehicle and advised that this process would take between 1 to 1 1/2 hours due to them being backlogged. I advised Mr. Colamarino that I needed to leave Toyota by the latest 2:30pm. He said he would do his best. At ~2:20pm I inquired about the status of the key pairing and was informed that it was nearly completed. As I was concerned about being able to leave the dealership by 2:30pm, I approached Jeff Mekal who sold us the Prius, and told him that I had an important business call at 3 pm and asked if there was anywhere quiet where I could hold this call. Jeff graciously allowed me to take the call in his personal vehicle. At 4pm when I had completed this call, Jeff advised me that not only was the new key not paired to the Prius but in fact it was actually on backorder!
I am really at a loss at how I could be contacted, scheduled, and checked in by Toyota representatives and only after 3 hours of waiting at the dealership be advised that the part was not even available! At three different times in this process, it was possible to inform me that there was an error to the original key status. However it took three hours of my waiting at the dealership and Jeff's assistance before informing me of this error.
Disappointment in this customer service is an understatement!

I bought a used Toyota Sequoia which had several deficiencies I did not notice until I took it home. After seeing the issues I returned and requested they fix the issues. The failed to fix the issues and I have returned three times and still have issues that have not been fixed. The headlight cleaners are still not fixed. I had to return it to have the warning light that maintenance was required checked and they told me it just had to be reset. I cannot trust that this is true and am having it checked by another mechanic. They have very poor service practices and do not take care of their new customers.

My wife was charged 130 dollars for work on her car. When I called to question why, Anthony told me “I told you her maintenance package was expired” when really he told me “there are 5 people before you who dropped off their car”. Then when speaking over the phone to tell me the car was ready, he also did not tell me that it was going to be 130 dollars. Common courtesy would have been nice for how much it was going to be. I’ve never owed money for work that the service advisor didn’t tell me the price. When finishing the conversation, he hung up on me.
