Talked to the service representative about why our car only has 5400 miles on it and the tires are already showing quite a bit of wear. The answer we were given was that they come from the factory with somewhat of an inferior tire on the new cars. We were told that they would look at them when we come in for the next oil change at 12K miles and at that time suggest we put a higher grade tire on the car. Is this our best course of action?
