Service persons were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Apparently the work was done well. However, I was not made aware of a new, and ill advised, change in payment structure that penalizes customers 3.5% for using a credit card. During the 1970s we learned that credit card fees are part of the cost of doing business. Although, in my case, significant dollars were involved, Matt Blatt’s new policy gives the customer the impression of being nickel-and-dimed and makes one wonder what else is being done to save the company a few dollars. Additionally, since only debit cards or cash is now accepted (no personal checks either) customers who do not have sufficient cash on hand are paying twice to use a card at your establishment- once in the fee you charge and again in the interest charged by the credit card company. The new payment policy reflects very poor business judgment and should be reversed.
