Not a big deal but when I left the car at 9 AM I was told that it would be ready in 2 to 4 hours. I confirmed my cell phone number so that I could be called when the car was ready. So, I planned to pick up the car at 1 PM. By 4:30 PM I had not received a call so I called Paradise service. Chris was on another call so I was told he would call me back which he did in a few minutes. Chris advised me that my car would be finished in 10 minutes or so. I live about an hour away so it was a little tight getting there by 6 PM. No one was in the service department so I wandered around and finally ask someone in the sales area where to pick up my key. Chris told me where to pick up the key but I probably was not paying close attention. One of the reasons I took the car in was that the temperature gage did not put the needle at the center point of the gauge. I had taken it in about a month earlier for the same problem and was not satisfied with the explanation. Chris went inside and talk to the manager twice about the situation. The reason I was given for the gauge not centering was that perhaps the fuel/air mixture on the engine was set different than that of the gauge.This is our third Cadillac and we have owned GMC’s including our current 2017 Yukon. The temperature gage on all these other cars pegged at the Centerpoint. So color me a bit skeptical. Chris is very knowledgeable and he gave me good advice on why the passenger side tail light on our Yukon had stopped working - that it was the LED array that went bad not the cable to the tail light. When I dropped the car off I went inside to buy a new taillight but was told the cost was $750 plus a $50 core charge. I decided to go online and was able to order one for $385 with free shipping.I am somewhat mechanical so I’m able to replace it myself.

Thnx for quick battery replacement. However Cadillac need to get a better battery. New battery installed 10/10/17 failed. Replaced 4/11/19 but failed 3/31/21. Battery should last at least 4 years.

Transmission problem should be covered under powertrain warranty. Also the car was covered with dust. It’s supposed to come back cleaner.

Everyone was very helpful, but I was disappointed because having an appointment for a flat tire repair should not require me to wait for 5 hours, while a new tire is delivered from offsite, other than the absurd wait time, the people were all a delight as usual
