Got a new set of tires for my RDX. I came by an hour after they said the car was ready. Looked at the tire pressure readings on the dashboard. They read 40, 39, 39,and 38. The recommended pressures by Acura are 35 for the front tires and 33 for the rear tires. When I got home, I let the car sit in the garage for about 5 hours, then checked the pressures again. Still the same. So I used my pressure gauge to let some of the air out to get them to your factory recommendations, which then matched the dashboard readings. The tires say do not inflate over 40 psi. If it had been a hot day, driving them on the road would have raised the pressures to over 40. Either the technician wasn’t very careful, or else you need to recalibrate your pressure gauges.
