I have recently purchased the 2017 civic si and when encountering issues that I have with the vehicle, I have not been given good service, yes the parts in question were addressed and fixed but I feel that I had to argue my case, when the car is under warranty and supposedly went through over 100 point inspection.

Problem was not solved. Mark was friendly and explained that he asked the head technician to look at my Honda Odyssey. However, I was informed that the delayed start was typical for 9 gear Odyssey. I explained that van started fine first two years of use, but over the past year problem with not accelerating from dead stop and then jerking forward when it did start with pressing on accelerator a second time was happening more often. I have taken van in two times over the last 6 months. All my service has been done at Weir Canyon Honda. I’ve been happy with the service except for this most recent problem which has not been solved. Being told it’s “typical” for my make and model is not a reassuring answer. I am seriously considering selling my Honda. It is dangerous to be stopped waiting to turn left, when I can’t rely on the van to move forward when I press on the accelerator. I fear getting rear ended when the light turn green and I take my foot off the break and step on the accelerator and nothing happens and the car behind me is expecting me to go on the green light. Also, I paid extra for Cilajet coating with the promise of a free weekly car wash. I only had about 4 washes because this service center claims there’s drought restrictions. Other car centers in Orange County continue to offer a hand wash after major service. I am not complaining about the service advisor, Mark, but just extremely disappointed that the problem was not fixed.
