Talked to a service advisor of Friday about having purchased a used Subaru and what the best way forward would be to have it looked over and ensure it was in good shape and didn’t need anything. I was told that bringing it in for an oil change that your mechanics would do a full inspection at that time in addition to the oil change. I verified this with the person when I dropped it off, telling them about a squeak I was hearing in the rear end. They said that there were no master techs on a Saturday but the tech would do a full work up on the vehicle. Received no inspection paperwork on the payment after the oil change and the only thing notated on the receipt was that the tires were new. I could have saved the $70 for the oil change and taken it to a regular mechanic and gotten more information. Complete waste of my money and time.
