I made an appointment to address a recall issue, and at the time I made the appointment I told Mr. Drury that I had a free oil change remaining on my maintenance plan and he assured me that both services could be performed at the same time. My husband took the car in for the services, and afterwards received a bill for the oil change. When he said the oil change was supposed to be free, the gentleman at the service counter ( he unfortunately didn’t get his name….so I don’t know if it was Brandon or someone else) told him he needed to tell someone when he brought the car in, not just when the appointment was made. I was called on the phone to verify that we had a free oil change remaining, and was told that the free oil changes were different than regular ones, and we might have to pay the difference. He got rather nasty with my husband and told him that by law he could charge him up to $150. Ultimately someone else stepped in and helped him adjust the bill on the computer and we weren’t charged, but we feel the gentleman’s behavior was very unprofessional.
