The service was less than desirable. I did not receive a diagnostic on the car nor was advised of any future preventative service opportunities. Service Manager witnessed me waiting for quite some time to pay and quickly jumped in to help. He was very helpful.

To Whom It May Concern,
I took my vehicle in for an oil change and a look at getting my left bumper looked at, as it had been knocked out of some of the clips that hold it on tightly. My service advisor Andy Vasquez was quite pleasant and mentioned the work could be done and he’d get back to me. As I would be waiting at the dealership I was told it could be 1-3 hours to wait on my car as it was a busy day. Car was checked in at 0927am and at 1150am I was sent a message concerning the items that should be addressed. It included 4 items. I accepted one of those items which was an engine filter change. There was no mention of the bumper so I eventually called to talk with Andy, and another person told me he’d come in to talk with me, but after about 30 minutes I sent a text asking about the bumper. Andy wrote back 26 minutes later that they would have to order the parts which were 2 weeks out. I thanked him as I really wanted the bumper corrected. The communication could have been better. I would have appreciated a full quote and to talk about how the process would go, but I never heard exact details, although I was told via text that the clips were $32 a piece. This prompted to me to ask via text how many clips I would need. I was told it comes as an assembly and the screws come together. I thought I’d have the opportunity to talk to him eventually and everything would be explained.
At 1:12pm I received a text from Andy that the car was in the wash and would be ready shortly and he would come in and talk with me shortly, which is exactly what I’d been waiting for, which was the opportunity to talk face to face and find more out about the bumper. After an hour had passed I walked outside for some fresh air and noticed my car appeared to be done and was sitting there ready for me to take it. I then texted how the car was doing at 2:14pm to which I didn’t receive a response and after waiting for 20 minutes decided to walk out to Andy’s service booth. Seeing he wasn’t there I went back inside. After a couple of minutes I walked out to what appeared to be the service manager booth as it was the first one and I believe said service manager on the door. I knocked and explained that I been waiting over 5 hours to do an oil change and a simple filter change as by this time I was starting to get a little upset. Communication had broken down with Andy as he wasn’t responding to me, I couldn’t find him in his booth and from what I could see my car had been done for at least 30 minutes. The person who I believe to be the service manager had me wait in his booth while he went down in the direction of my service providers booth. After a couple of minutes he came back and told me Andy will see me now. When I went into Andy’s booth he had my sheet and was typing information into the computer for the amount to be charged. There was no apology or mention of the bumper or anything. He told me the amount and I put my card in the machine and that was it. After paying, I then asked him about the bumper and the clips and he then asked, as if surprised if I would like him to order the parts for the bumper and was coming up with a price in his head what the total would cost. At this point I felt I wanted no more service work to be done at this location. I just wanted to take my car and go as there was never any mention of why it took my car over 5 hours to complete and no apologies or mention of why no one notified me that my car was done. I find this, if true, to be a complete disrespect of my time and a very unprofessional attitude.
I have had good experiences at Easy Honda in the past. Not sure what happened this time. On the positive notes, I do find the waiting room to be very nice and clean and the coffee machine is outstanding and the bottle water is much appreciated as well. The bathrooms are clean and convenient.
I don’t blame Andy Vasquez as he was cordial when I did have the time to talk with him personally. I believe he could improve how he communicates with customers. I believe good leadership, which always starts at the top down can help to make improvements. I appreciate being able to explain my experience here and truly hope it can make for some sort of small improvements. Thank you.
