This was my first time at Covina Kia, and my experience was average. Michael was kind and professional and I’m sure the car technicians did all the services perfectly. However, there were 2 issues that affected my overall satisfaction. First, the entire process took way too long. My appointment was at 10:30 AM, but I was not picked up until 3:45 PM because they gave the driver the wrong phone number, and he contacted the wrong person and thought I was already picked up. Then, I noticed they did not fix the air bubbles on the side of the audio unit. I had to go back to the store to ask, in which Michael then told me that he’s waiting to get approval to fix that and to call him next week. He didn’t say anything when I paid, which makes me think had I not noticed and gone back to ask, he would’ve said nothing. It was 4 PM by the time all services were completely, which took 5.5 hours! My entire day was affected because of this.

0n 1-5-25 I brought my veh to Covina Kia for a headlamp hi-beam failure recall. The service advisor, George Arroyo, initially told me the headlamp recall was void due to my veh mileage. I had to explain to him and other personnel that the recalls are not limited or void based on mileage. After some discussion, George Arroyo finally took my veh in for repair. On 1-23-25 I finally got George Arroyo to return my calls. Service Manager, Oscar, never returned my calls. 18 days after taking my car in George Arroyo told me the headlamps required replacement, and the parts are on “national backorder”. George Arroyo told me the headlamps are on order for approximately 30 days. I reluctantly took my veh home and George Arroyo said he would call me when the parts are “in”. I immediately took my veh home and called around to check on availability. I found both right and left headlamps in stock at Alhambra Kia, Car Pros Kia Huntington Beach and Glendale Kia. I also checked with Covina Kia’s own parts department, and they told me they could get both headlamps in 2 days. George Arroyo lied to me in my face! George Arroyo from Covina Kia sent me home with an unsafe vehicle. I travel to Sierra Madre, CA to visit my daughter daily. Sierra Madre is a small
