Overall, the service department did great as always, my only comment is the cashier. No customer service provided when I went to get my paperwork.

My wife and I dropped our 2013 Toyota RAV4 with under 50,000 miles at Bev Smith Toyota at 10a for a 10:30a appointment for service. We have been noticing a loud metal noise when driving the car at low speeds. We left the lot after waiting for two hours to drop the car off and get a loaner. My wife was called at 2:50p after receiving a text. Our Service Rep Stanley R. told her the sensor needed to be replaced in order for the noise to go away. She was told the price was $270 for the sensor and work done but that a coupon could be applied for $50 off to make the price $220. Stanley R. told my wife that sensor in the tire was broken and that the reason the car makes the noise at slow speeds is because the sensor was bouncing around and rubbing the inside of a part of the tire. When my wife asked why the noise would stop at higher speeds Stan said the centrifugal force when the car speeds up forces the broken piece away from the part it would rub at a slower speed. At 5:47p my wife received a call to come pick up the car as service had just been completed. My wife asked specifically if we should wait until Monday to pick up the car and was told by Stanley R. that Bev Smith wanted the loaner car back today and urged her to pick the car up before 7p. I heard him tell her that someone should be there to give us our car. We drove to pick up the car, dropped off the loaner and waited 30 minutes for the folks there to find our RAV4. We no sooner got in the car just barely putting it in reverse when the car started making the noise. We did not leave the lot. We parked again and went to find someone to explain how this could be after spending $640 and being assured that it would resolve our issue. I went inside and spoke to Sylvester in the service department and Ken Reeves of the sales department to complain. They both accompanied my wife and I to the parking lot to hear the noise for themselves. They confirmed that the issue had in fact not been resolved and they could clearly hear the noise. Sylvester wrote on and signed our service report/itemized invoice with a note stating that the noise is still pronounced and the issue went unfixed as was advertised to my wife and I. We spent over $635 and the initial problem is still unresolved. We expect Bev Smith Toyota to refund us in full as we had to wait two plus hours at the dealership to get a loaner car, we’re rushed to bring back our loaner at our inconvenience, and were sold a bill of goods that was total crap. This is completely unacceptable. We were misled and upsold on something that had nothing to do with our issue. Furthermore the service was terribly slow, they couldn’t find our car at the end of the day and we wound up having to search in the lot ourselves to find it. The only focus anyone at Bev Smith Toyota seemed to have during drop off was trying to buy our vehicle and sell us a new one. Once we are refunded we will NEVER use Bev Smith for service again nor would we ever consider purchasing a vehicle from here. We expect a call from the service manager first thing Monday morning to apologize and discuss when we should expect a refund.

Even though my appointment was scheduled months ago, I had to wait for 2 hours and the mechanic that service my vehicle did not screwed the cover under the vehicle, I had to go back to get it fixed. This negligence might cause some damage the to vehicle.

Kim was very helpful in getting my vehicle in, serviced and complete. The issue I have is your internal communications. I tried several years ago to have vehicles serviced at your dealership (more than once) the problem was the phone menus, you could hit buttons for a good length of time and never get a person, multiple times I would try to no avail, I took my business to the Stuart dealership. This time I gave another try, got a real person on the line and made my appointment, and brought my car in, Kim did her job and all was well until I got a text to authorize more work. At that point the problem came into play, yes I wanted to authorize the work, but, putting the work in the cart was easy until one category had on info or price, so I called and called, never got Kim or the service manager. Three hours later Kim called saying she got a message I called, one message, I called about six times. The work was authorized at that point. The category for service with no info or price should not have been there, this is what should be addressed to eliminate any confusion to the customer.
Never received a return call from the service manager.
