Almost 5 minutes standing in the service area and not one person acknowledged me or the other people who entered behind us. There were A also a lot of people standing around. While the people behind the desk might have been finishing up paperwork from previous customers the perception is not good. A simple welcome and we will be right with you would have changed the entire experience.

The blonde guy I checked in with was quite disappointing. I let him know I live in Yakima and was hoping he would understand I didn’t want to wait long if possible. He explained to me it was impossible to know how long. Ok, fine. Then when my car was done, he didn’t call my name to let me know it was ready… who knows how much extra I waited. When I went to check on my vehicle, the guy who checked me out said “he was waiting on paperwork” yeah… the blonde guy just didn’t bring it over. He went and got it and there was so haste at all. So he obviously didn’t inform anyone that I was wanting to get on the road as soon as possible. When I got my key they told me my car was outside the door. I went out there and my car was no where to be found. I hit my unlock button numerous times and still couldn’t find my car. It was parked way over in the other parking lot. I was really upset. I literally walked away saying this was the worse service I have ever had and I came down from Yakima for this. I was so disappointed. What’s funny is I had issues with this kid last time. He is not good at his job. I don’t know if it is that he doesn’t think of others or is just too obtuse for this job. I won’t be using his services ever again and I have been a loyal customer since 2010 when I bought my Camry. The gal who is normally there, possibly the manager wasn’t there. I felt a big difference in service. They were overall lackadaisical. When she is there, she runs a tight ship. I’m always impressed by her and her care for the customers. I waited over two hours I believe. Not sure why he didn’t turn in my Key and paperwork and call me. I’m sure they will cover for each other too… the way that guy did when he said “looks like we’re just waiting on paperwork” and went out to get it from the blonde kid. I hope this all makes sense. I was pretty frustrated.

"Our #1 priority is YOU, the customer" this statement falls flat when a customer has an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation that takes two hours. Perhaps there are schedule constraints, but customers who wait weeks for service should be able to realize that #1 priority. I didn't get my service done elsewhere (jiffy lube could have got my car serviced in half the time). I want my car serviced by Toyota. That is a priority to me. To be a priority when I have an appointment seems possible. Else why have appointments?

While Raul was courteous, I am not satisfied with the customer service provided by Toyota. I understand we are in difficult times with supply shortages, but to not be able to provide a battery or any kind of time frame to get one is just unacceptable. And furthermore, not to provide any kind of help with a loaner car or assist with finding a rental car is just poor service and given the fact that my husband and I have been long time clients of Toyota of Tri-Cities (3 cars over 15 years) and have completed every maintenance request on schedule, I expect to be treated better. Essentially saying we can’t fix your car, we have no idea when we can fix your car, and we are not going to help with finding alternate source of transportation puts a very bad taste in my mouth regarding Toyota and their commitment to their vehicles and customers. You can do better.

I sat in the waiting area for a hour waiting on a diagnostic scan to confirm the code I already told them from my scan of the 0xy sensor P0158 bank 2 sensor 2. I finally went and asked if the had ran the test, they didn’t know, I told them not run the test and replace the sensor. I waited another hour not hearing anything I inquired on the status of my vehicle. He said he thought it was done and would check, he returned and ask for my name and went to check. He returned to tell me that they ran the diagnostic and the code I gave them was correct, bank 2 sensors 2 was going out and sensor 1 was recommended to be replaced as well . But they didn’t have the parts and I would to reschedule to have them replaced. Jomi recognized my frustration and said she would give me a $60 credit for the delay, that didn’t happen and I didn’t get the results of diagnostic with my paperwork. I will replace the sensors myself or take it to Hermiston.
