I bought my 2021 rav 4 in April 2021. At the end of May 2021, I needed to take it to the dealership because there was an issue with the “head unit” radio part. I was told it was being ordered. I waited and waited and no word. Each time I called, no one had an answer. I was told to call back on this day at this time. When I called, I got the same answer. I left multiple voicemails and still no word. In October 2021 I took in my car for the 5,000 service and again asked about an update as it had been 5 months. No one had an answer for me. I was once again told “We will call you with an update”. Of course I never received a call. Finally I got in contact with Bill who said he was the parts manager. He was the only person who actually returned my call like he said he would. He said the part was returned due to me not returning the calls in June 2021 that the part was in. I answer my phone, I check my voicemails, and I read my email. I NEVER received notice that the part was in. But I was finally able to receive service with the help of Jodi who replaced my head unit yesterday 1/27/2022. I am happy with the help of those two but very disappointed that it took 8 months to get a part and so many phone calls. I spent a lot of money on a brand new car and want it to be perfect. The lack of communication is extremely frustrating for customers.

Hola Raúl se si que no estuviste cuando me atendieron pero agradezco mucho tu tiempo para hacerme la Cita, si me gustaría dejarles saber que a pesar que estoy conforme con el cambio de mi parabrisas sobretodo porque pusieron uno Original Toyota, me hicieron ir 2 días para no solo llevar el carro sino que demoraron todo el día, de hecho lo lleve ambos días a las 8am y fui a buscar a las 6PM y aún no lo tenían listo. Sino llamo a las 4pm para preguntar para que hora podía pasar por el, tal vez no me lo hubiesen arreglado. Perdí 2 días de trabajo porque yo trabajo en el carro, y eso quien me lo paga?? Por ese parte SI estoy inconforme.

Lack of communication on what the 30K major service entails at the time of making the appointment, at the time of service drop off and post service. Talked with the service manager which led to a bunch of head nods. Rep at service counter at check in and check out was professional and answered questions to the best of their ability. Frustrating to know I paid for an oil change, tire rotation, change air filters, performed a bunch of inspections and performed a “just in case diagnostics”. No learning lights,no squeaks, no anything else....must perform this service to keep the warranty! It’s a money maker to cover the companies liability!!
