No need to follow up, but it would be helpful to clearly communicate timing with customers. When I set the appointment, I was informed it would be a 90 minute service, for which I could wait at the dealership, so I set that time aside on my calendar. Thankfully, I didn’t choose to wait at the dealership because the service took seven hours. I was told at the time of arrival that my car would take longer to service - closer to six hours - but it would have been helpful to know that information before I left the house, and ideally when I set the appt, so I could have cancelled.
There was a mishap in communication during the service as well, but that seemed to be an honest mistake. All in all, I’m disappointed that I needed to push back my travel to accommodate what I understood to be a 90-minute morning auto service.
