Vehicle in for routine service at 40k miles. Had 3 other possible warranty concerns. One was adequately addressed. As for the others: Drivers door makes loud popping noises when opening and closing and pointed this out to service writer when in for routine service. Appears to be the door hinge. Was later told was corrected with “special grease”. Picked up vehicle and no change whatsoever. The so called special grease was silicon spray which I had already tried myself. Technician notes says corrected with “special grease” and “compared against other vehicles”. Upon arrival I checked comparable vehicle with service advisor (including other doors on my car) and none made the noise. Service advisor said would speak to foreman and would call me. Never called me. Now I will need to follow up myself when I have time. Also, 2nd time I have pointed out high pitched HVAC blower motor noise coming from under glove box. It’s highly annoying. Sometimes also chirps. Produced a video of the noise. Appears to be a bad bearing in blower motor. When picking up vehicle was told they did not address. It’s inefficient to have to come back at some point. Lastly, despite taking it in service I noticed this washer fluid reservoir was not filled and received no vehicle inspection report or checklist of any kind. Makes me wonder if they actually changed the oil?
