I came into the service dept. to see if they could help me with my gas tank issue on the 2007 JK. It has always had issues but recently it has gotten way worse where I had to let the gas trickle into my tank in order for it to work. I heard there was a lifetime warranty regarding the issue, so, I decided to go to the local dealer and see what they could do for me. I had explained the situation to the service rep, Derrick, as well as a service technician in his office. He said he would check it out under the warranty and let me know what they find. The warranty included changing out the fill tube but according to him, he found a piece of plastic that looked like it came from a water bottle in my tube, therefore causing the tank not to fill correctly (apparently some A-hole put something in my tank). Not only did he acknowledge my issue with concern, but it was fixed AND there was no charge for doing so. I don't have to wait forever at the gas pump anymore...YAY!!! I was very pleasantly surprised with the service I received. Derrick was awesome! I would definitely go back and recommend service from Derrick.
