I understand the overhead costs for mechanics runnings diagnostics. However if the issues in which were stated by the customer were not found by the diagnostic tests nor repaired how can the customer rightly be charged for tests to repair issues that were never repaired. I am aware of multiple other shops that would not charge if repairs were not made.

Made online appointment to get 3 things done including tire rotation It was not done. Also, mechanic put part on car with out prior approval although the ticket shows that he did check with me. He did not. Had to pay for part but labor was removed.

Just a simple check engine light on ended up being a huge deal. The first time I brought my car in they didn't want to fix the problem because the light wasn't on when I brought the car in even though it was stored in the memory. When I brought my car back the next week because the light came back on they were willing to fix the problem. When I pick my car up the check engine light is still on. Shelby went out and looked at it for me and the air intake hose is laying unattached on top of the engine. He was kind enough to attach it for me and I went on my way. I hadn't gone 20 miles when the car virtually shuts down because the idol air control wasn't reset requiring another trip back to your shop. Shelby was quick to have someone look at it and made me aware of what the problem was within 2 hours. I feel sorry for your staff that works the service counter that has to deal with the disgruntled public because of incompetence and unattention to detail by your service technicians. I have nothing but good things to say about Shelby, as for the actual work that was done on my car I have ZERO confidence in the mechanical work done. The only reason I will return there is because my current car is under warranty.
