It’s okay. I just waited for an hour and 30 minutes to find out what the diagnostic information was. Then another hour to fix problem. Just a long afternoon. I checked my text messages several times. It probably would have been faster if they had texted me to inform me.

Still have vibration in front end at app. 57-60 mph. I will bring the car back in next week. Vehicle drives and handles better except for the vibration. It is not acceptable the way it is! Improvement in the vibration is minimal.

on my previous visit I had the front differential flushed and fluid changed. I was told on this visit it had to be done again. Evidently the front differential was not flushed properly the first time. It was done again at no charge but concerned it was not done properly the first time.

I called to make an appointment in advance of my visit to Riley so that I could be certain the vehicle we use for work would only be out of service a limited amount of time. When I dropped the vehicle off this morning I was asked when I needed it back, I said that it could take the day but that I had to have the vehicle back with things repaired today. We have a trip to St Louis tomorrow and must have the vehicle. I didn’t hear anything all morning, even though I dropped the vehicle off at 8:30 am as scheduled with Summer. I called at 1:30 to find out that my vehicle had not been checked yet due to a number of drop offs and waiting customers. It would probably be 4 to 5 before it was ready. Why should I make an appointment if Riley is going to schedule walk-ins and drop offs ahead of my appointment? I called back at 3:00 and they said Shane or a technician would call me back in 15-20 minutes. At 3:45 I received a call from Shane that my car was ready and they really couldn’t find anything wrong. Did they really review my vehicle completely or did they just respond to my need for the car back? I paid my $103 for 1 hour of diagnostic. I have always had excellent service with Riley Toyota and have take. Both our Rav-4 and Prius for years. As a service department they are one of the best I have experienced given that I didn’t even purchase any of my Toyota’s fromthat location. Given my experience today and my past experience with Riley Chevrolet, I will probably try Dave Cross GMC by our Lee’s Summit location for future GMC issues. Rob Hunter
