It was a simple oil & filter change and they needed to check squeaky brakes that turned out to have a Bulletin issued for them and it took all day when they told me it should be done in the morning. It would have been fine but no one bothered to fill me in on what was going on with my car until it was done. Even after repeated attempts to contact someone for information.

I had a bad experience, but it wasnt anything that Ron Inman did… his only contribution to my bad experience was to take three days off, which, because of the way work wasnt shared and customers taken care of by other service writers to cover for who is taking time off, leaves him blameless for what happened. The other writers I had contact with didnt seem to want to do any more than necessary to help out, but instead wanted to wait til Ron came back to pick up where he left off. And due to mechanics swithing days while my truck was being worked on, the ball got dropped and work stopped until I intervened and said I needed my vehicle back instead of waiting a couple days til the writer and mechanic who initiated the work came back. I’m grateful for Trenton helping me get my truck back on Saturday and for the attention I got from Jerry Taylor when I raised concerns about what transpired, so as it stands, I may keep using Riley for service on my truck, and I may not. Im still thinking about it all and waiting for the dust to settle from the experience.

Lug nut issue on tire rotation
On way home had to turn defrost on and truck started making terrible sound that it did not make this morning on way to service appointment. When I looked under hood the air filter cover was not latched properly. Had to put it all back together the proper way. This did not fix the noise that started after oil change. Simple oil change and tire rotation is turning in to a bigger mess that is requiring three trips to service center. Not to mention the engine noise is new and hasn’t been discussed.
