The service (once it actually started) was fast and fixed the problem, but the communication was not ideal. Called John Hill about tire pressure monitor problem, and he got service department to call me an set up an appointment after asking many questions and being very helpful. Service desk took all my details and information. But when I got to the service desk and signed in for my appointment, first thing they asked was “so it’s an oil change?” and I had to reexplain everything. While I explained, service employee interrupted me many times before I could finish describing the issue, trying to diagnose the problem or even saying I should go somewhere else to get it fixed because other people (Les Schwab, who patched my tire a couple months back) “must have screwed something up”— all without listening fully to my situation or even looking at the vehicle. Eventually problem was addressed and fixed very quickly, but I left feeling pretty patronized and stressed just from trying to get a simple manual reset on my tire pressure monitor— something I was told on the phone was a common and familiar problem to Honda service workers. I don’t want to name the worker or get anyone in trouble, I’m just speaking to the events, but this experience really discouraged me from reaching out for Honda service again, despite John’s friendly assistance and the great customer service on the phone.

You charged us $9.90 for a $.47 fop battery. We have been changing those little 2032 batteries every six months or so for over seven years now, bought them in bulk on Amazon a long time ago.
It would have been so much cooler if you just gave us a heads up that it needed to be replaced.
That’s over a 2000% mark up.

First, please contact the person/number you confirmed when we checked the car in: Roberta Deppe at ****-****-xxxx. Second, guessing the problem was the key fob without doing the diagnostic testing that was scheduled when Roberta called last Weds left us with a car that is stil unusable (had to disconnect battery again last night) and wasted hours of our time driving back and forth to dealership yesterday.

Austin is an excellent service advisor. His customer service is top notch and I really appreciated his a cappella medley of songs by world renowned pop star, Britney Spears. The performance included the songs: Oops! I did it again, I’m a Slave 4 U, Toxic, Womanizer, and Lucky. Austin’s musical performance also included some of Britney’s famous dance moves. I was a little disappointed he didn’t recreate Britney’s 2001 VMA performance, please make him aware there is room for improvement. The Service Manager made an attempt to aid Mr. Miles in his performance by serving as a back up dancer, but he just didn’t have that main character energy.

There was a complication with my brake repair, and as I was discussing this with Joshua, we discovered that it was a result of an action by a Honda technician. Ron Tonkin Honda stepped up and took responsibility for the repair and gave me a loaner car while they were fixing mine. I truly appreciate the honesty and integrity by this maintenance team.
