It was frustrating that the service time kept needing to be extended. I realize there were circumstances that were our of anyone's control as the part was not arriving as anticipated. But not having my car available to use was a big inconvenience for me.

I was told my car would be ready at 9am after dropping it off at 7am. Although I received a text with the contract I was never phoned, emailed or texted about my car. I phoned a few times and after no response found a ride to pick up my car around 2:30 pm hoping it was ready. It was ready. Robert said my chart said texting was not approved or some such thing. Obviously not true since I’d already received a text from him with my contract. I understand it might be a busy day but when I arrived it looked quiet. I had a busy work day with clients and this was disruptive.

Pablo was nice enough. However my service experience at Toyota Service center was dreadful. I started the appointment off explaining that I had an hour and a half window before needing to pick up my kids from school for their different activities. Pablo explained this may not work as the vehicle may need to stay overnight. Prior to leaving I requested that my tire was filled with air as the tire pressure (and reason for the appointment) was dangerously low. Pablo stated that while filling the pressure they saw a nail in the tire and it would be a quick patch fix. Pablo quoted me one hour knowing what I had planned. I decided to wait with my 3 year old daughter at the center. Long story short, 4 hours later I was returned my vehicle. I missed school pick up and they were unable to attend their planned activities. This was extremely frustrating as I had explained the situation prior with what I thought was understanding. From previous experience elsewhere, a tire patch is a 20-30 minute service. Additionally, I was charged for the tire repair despite having Toyota Tire and Wheel Protection. On the Toyota website it states “ We'll repair or replace your tire if it's damaged by eligible road hazards such as nails.” This was not done in my circumstance as I was misled on multiple fronts.
This experience unfortunately reaffirms my previous experiences with Toyota of Santa Barbara. After multiple disrespectful interactions with the sales team at Toyota of Santa Barbara, I decided to purchase my vehicle from Toyota of Santa Maria despite the inconvenience as I live here in Santa Barbara. After this experience, I’m saddened to think that I may need to travel to Santa Maria for my service needs as well.

Please don’t send me a survey. I am completely satisfied with the service I get it Toyota and no one else has taken care of my car except you since the day I purchased it in 2016 so I really would preferred not to get so many text and emails and I don’t respond to my emails because I don’t look at them Unless somebody tells me they’re going to send me something I need to look at and they have to call first , so time is valuable and you don’t need my survey because it’s excellent. Pablo was amazing! I wish I could’ve worked with him when I first dropped off the Landcruiser. I had to leave my car overnight and Pablo called me first thing on Saturday morning to give me options on what I needed for my car. Pablo was super thorough, friendly and very clear of what I needed. I have 2 businesses so I am very aware of the value of great customer service. Pablo has it all!
