Lack of communication, did not communicate with me if brakes needed to be replaced, did not comply with having car ready before 1pm so that I could get to work. My check in time was 8:10 am4 hrs and 40 min for a regular service is quite long. I had to go in and ask for updates until a young lady helped me and charged me so I could take my car to my work.

My frustration is with what I feel was a waste of my time. I brought my car in for 100K mile service on Nov 18, 2024, and requested a diagnostic of a persistent warning light on my dashboard. I was told it was a sensor and quoted $300. I brought it in today and was told the entire tire pressure system required replacing which would cost about $1,000. Why wasn't that fully diagnosed when I was in the last time? Additionally, it was a shock to hear it would be $700 more than I anticipated. I took my car and left.
This, by the way, is on the back of the $100K mile service which cost $510 and took less than 2 hours to complete. The labor was $410 which amounts to $205/hr, assuming the full 2 hours. This particular service center has serviced my cars since 1993, literally. When my 1993 Camry wore out, I purchased my next Camry from this dealership and continued to have my car serviced with you. But it might be time to look for an independent Toyota mechanic.

Je started fine and offered a good deal on a service package. But what was supposed to 30 minutes of work stretched over an hour and the parts department took forever to remove improper parts charges

Rachel was terrific. I was there before for the same service and dropped the car for 4 hours and nothing was done whatsoever. There was not even a call to let me know of some issue or delays. It was very terrible. This was with a different service leader than Rachel. Thank you Rachel for making my experience a good one and helping improve my impression.

The reason I said no is twofold. I don't know that either of these are directly related to Gabe or more about things at SB Toyota.
1) I am not used to this platform and I was looking for the multi-point inspection page on here. I could not find it on here and asked for help from Gabe. He wasn't able to help me navigate this online platform, nor did I get a paper copy
2) I had a question about the automatic day/night feature on my navigation display. He very politely told me that he didn't know about that and could connect me to someone in sales when I picked my car up neither of us remembered. I still have a question.
Gabe did a fine job. He was polite and friendly. My answer "no" is because in two different interactions, I asked for help and didn't get it. The help I asked for was beyond the scope of his job.
This review form happens to be the way I can share that this online platform is a bit tricky for me to learn to use and still not sure how to get my question answered. I know that my sales person has called several times to check in which I appreciate. I was hoping to get my question answered when I brought my car for its first service
