Where do I even start?? I’m not one to complain, but this was the absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had.Juan was fine, just doing his job. I’ve been coming to this dealership since 2006. What a disappointment Your earliest appointment was 2 weeks out for my routine 5000 mile oil change,etc. I was told about 2 hours on the phone. Not a big deal.
I show up at 9:45, as scheduled.Juan tells me it should be done by 1 or 1:30. A much larger window than quoted over the phone, but not really a big deal.
I leave and come back at 1. I ask about the progress. I’m told that the car hasn’t even got started on, and that there was nothing he could do because it was up to the techs. I explain that I need to get to work very soon and that I can’t come back because this is the only time I had and that I took work off for this. Juan helps me out and puts me “next in line”. Still, not a big deal.
Where things get not good. As I’m standing around waiting for about another hour, some of the younger service folks(kids) and the younger tech/mechanic(the one who was supposed to check out my car) where rough housing, flipping each other off, poking/pulling clothes, yelling. I’m all about having fun in the workplace but this level of non professionalism was beyond. I bought a very expensive car from you and I expect good service. Again still not a deal breaker but this is where it gets strange.
The young tech is driving my car around the lot many times. Stopping and starting(I imagine to investigate the squeezing that I mentioned the car had had since 3000 miles. From the customer lounge I can vividly hear the sqeeking when he would break, over and over.. Finally he is done, and Juan hands me the paperwork. The tech stated in the paperwork that he could not hear the squeeking,so further investigation or a ride with the main mechanic was needed. This is complete BS, as I heard lots of squeeking. Did the kid just not want to bother? Was he even the one that should have checked the breaks or was he just the oil and tire guy? I complain to the service director. He seems confused and like I am bothering him. He does get the foreman and I go for a ride. No more squeeking. Very odd. The foreman seemed really great and told me to just come back if it started(no thanks). Well, as I’m driving to work, to pick up my kids from school, back home to Ventura, SQuEEKIng at every stop!!! So I’m not sure what that tech kid did, but you should have a serious talk with him. This is not top notch, professional service that this really cool dealership used to have. I have heard that it has changed ownership some years ago. I can definitely tell. Included in my purchase is supposed to be a full vehicle inspection. Instead, my car was thrown up for a quick tire rotation and oil change(hopefully, as this isn’t even in the paperwork). I’m so bummed with my experience. I don’t have time in my busy life to “just bring my car back”. This was my time. This is a big purchase for me and I feel like I was treated like I was at a **** pizza joint or something….
Question:did that tech even change my oil?

I was surprised that the oil change wouldn't be done. Unfortunately, I didn't ask for the specific reason for the change in policy.Otherwise, I'm satisfied and will be watching my oil levels in order not to develop engine issues due to the oil quality.
