Checking in the vehicle took longer than it should have, there was nobody else waiting but the people who were working seemed to be more interested in talking to each other than helping check people in. Also, we were told it would be a covered service under the plan but when we went to pick it up, there was a charge because the plan had ended - it wasn't a huge deal but would have been good to know that up front and not after the fact.

I called specifically to schedule repair for a recall. Todd was very kind and gave me an early AM appointment. I purposely included regular service. The car was at the shop by 8 and Todd called at 11:30 to say it would be 3:00 before it was ready.
Turns out (after I took an Uber home from work) it was “ready” at 1:00. However, there was no recalll repair b/c you didn’t have the part!! Who would agree to a recall repair knowing the part isn’t in the shop. Next time I’d appreciate the service dept spelling that out BEFORE the service is scheduled. I realized service has to do an inspection first, but please be ready to do the job!!

I’m very pleased that Toyota did not charge me for restoring the headlamp lens for a second time. I had been told that the treatment would be long lasting so I had it done when I went in for routine service about 6 months ago. The lens were clear for only a few months. Toyota had a third party detailer do the work both times. It’s only a one time courtesy during this routine service, so I hope the treatment lasts for years as it had been indicated to me the first time. Thank you Toyota Santa Barbara!

Your service was great. I was a little surprised that a manufacturing process in this day and age was not robust enough to stop welding slag to accumulate on critical fasteners and that it took from Feb. 26th to late April to send out a remedy. I worked on industrial & utility equipment for 44 years and this would have been totally unacceptable in my line of work.
