I’ve been dealing with Northridge Toyota for MANY years. Frankly I wish I was more confident about the diagnosis than I am. Replacing the main battery at 148,000 was an expensive shock. I don’t know how you overcome that, however. It would have been at considerable risk to get a second opinion. I trusted our long-standing relationship, though I must confess to having doubts. One thing that might have helped: for years I dealt with the same service manager; that hasn’t been true for years.
