I needed a tire repair on my newly leased 2022subaru Forester. I presented my tire and wheel protection warranty and was told that it was not a nationally recognized plan and I would need to go to Merrillville Indiana to have my tire serviced. I contacted my sales person and was informed that my plan is nationally recognized, but just needed prior authorization for service. I was also told that what Subaru offers is the Equity Shield program and my plan was a in house plan from Ziegler dealership. Which is it? I Paid for the covered service out of pocket.
