We dropped our vehicle off to have new tires installed. Everything was prepaid and we asked to have the keys left in the vehicle so we could pick it up on Sunday. We picked up the vehicle but the keys were not left in the vehicle. We had an extra set just in case. We now have to drive to Ames to pick our set of keys up. We live in Jefferson which is 40 minutes away. We have always been happy with the service on our vehicles at Wilson but this is an inconvenience we should not have to deal with.

A basic fill the fluids, general inspection, and tire rotation took 90 minutes. Service seems to be taking longer and longer. Driving up from DM means I have nowhere else to go to while waiting

I scheduled an oil change with ToyotaCare three weeks ahead of the appointment. Prior to arriving, I was not informed that a delay should be expected and/or given the option to reschedule. Similarly, no indication of delay was given when I arrived for the 3pm appointment. After 90 minutes of waiting, I inquired as to the status and was told they’d check. After another 25 minutes, I checked again and was told they’d check which was then followed by the information that they had not even started the oil change. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the overall lack of proactive communication and schedule management that caused me to waste three hours and fail to have the service scheduled completed.

1. Even though I scheduled for service (3:45 pm) and went in 15 minutes early, I waited for over two hours for a normal oil change to be completed at 5:48 pm!! 2. When asked, I indicated that I needed only oil change, no tire rotation, but the person who received my vehicle still added tire rotation! Luckily I checked a text message to me and saw that. So I had to insist that I did not need tire rotation. This is the third time tire rotation was added to service even though I did not request it. 3. So, I am a bit disappointed. Thank you.

The only problem was an exceptionally long wait for my vehicle to be done.why bother to make an appointment when people without them have their vehicles completed.
