Everything was great except the wait. I had a 2:45 appointment and I didn’t leave until a little after 5:00. I stayed and waited because I was thinking and I’ll change would not take that long but to my surprise it was over two hour wait. Some friends got together last night, and I mention my long wait at Toyota, and both of the other couples said they had the same experience. Toyota is getting a bad reputation. I will say the Toyota staff is great and the waiting area is very pleasant.

I waited 3.5hrs for my car to get an oil change and inspection. I’m not sure what happened, but I was extremely disappointed that it took that long especially when I was told that it would take 1-1.5hrs to complete. The cars coolant temperature was cold when I got the car back, so it must have sat a while before the service advisor told me it was done. At one point I had to ask someone what was going on since nobody had told me what was going on 2hrs in. Had I known that I would have went somewhere else or would have shuttled back to work. I was also unhappy with how long I had to wait to talk to someone when I pulled in the service doors. I will not be coming back to Wilson Toyota in the future and will not be recommending to others.

Management let me know today that in no uncertain terms my option or concerns don’t matter and I’m not impressed with the 3 hours l had to wait in the waiting room, for my vehicle to get an oil change and tire rotation when the shop manager who checked me in said it would be an hour to hour and 45 minutes. What do you do when they have your car????! Very unimpressed and will probably be going to go to another dealership for my next vehicle in the real near future.

We did not get an update on the status of our vehicle until my wife finally called 24 hours after I had dropped it off. Also, I mentioned that the check engine light was on and wanted it checked out. It appears that it was reset without checking it out because the light came back on the next day. My wife has called twice about it, both times we were told that someone would call us back, and we are still waiting.

I was charged $180 to be told what I already knew. I had already ran a diagnostic test and found out I needed a new O2 sensor. I made an appointment and the returned my car and told me I needed an O2 sensor. I wanted it replaced. I then was told it would be another $450 to replace.

Do not agree with the walk in policy. Should be able to do better. Not sure how you'd fix it. Wait time is disturbingly bad. I'm sure clients would go somewhere else once their warranty is up. Need to find a way to be more forgiving and flexible with time management.

It’s really hard to get anyone on the phone. Your website lists about 3 different numbers for service. Each time I call someone picks up and asks which department. I called the number that said it was service, so I thought I’d already be talking with someone in service. For this appointment, scheduled via online, then played phone tag back and forth. Seems each time I call I end up in voice mail. At my appointment, I was told it would be at least 3 hours. Never expected that for tires and an oil change. And would have liked that info when I scheduled it. Was in Ames and then couldn’t get a ride back to Ankeny for other business. Ended up getting an Uber at my own expense. Overall, a really bad experience.
