We have a rear back up light bulb that came out of socket and is floating around in the rear passenger side light. This light was like that when we got home with our vehicle on the day we picked up the vehicle. We decided to wait til we came in for our 5000 mile tire rotation as we live almost 2 hours from Ames. I called this morning to tell them about this and we would like a new bulb put in so all the reverse/ back up lights would work properly. We also told the guy that checked us in about the light and showed it to him. They put a new bulb in but left the original bulb in the light fixture still floating around. They were also going to charge us for the new bulb until we questioned this. I’m guessing it will be an involved long process to get that bulb out of the fixture. If this is the case they should have come and explained this and said it will take us x hours to take the light out and retrieve the floating bulb and asked us when we can make another appointment to do that.
