Communication failure. No need to call me on the 23rd of August telling me that the parts were in and then schedule an appointment to have me come in to get them installed if the door was not going to be painted. Also, when I showed up yesterday morning there was no reservation in the system even though we made one on the phone call of the 23rd. Complete breakdown of all processes. Not acceptable from this customers perspective.

I had to wait much longer than normal - about 2.5 hr for an oil change and buffing the lights. This was the first time for me for the texting and I didn’t care for it. I much prefer the personal touch of someone coming out to talk to me. If I’m reading things right they were done with the 10 Pt check at 1:45 (I brought it in at 12:35 for an 12:45 appointment) and texted me 24 minutes later at 2:09. I didn’t get an alert on my phone and didn’t see it for a few minutes for another delay. When I was checking out another woman was there and said she thought she’d made an appointment online but you didn’t have record of it. She appreciated you working her in and I wonder if that delayed work on mine. I’ve always appreciated the work you do but if I have to wait that long maybe I need to consider going somewhere else.

The service to my car was excellent and I trust that the work was expertly completed. My only complaint was that I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for a task that I have had done in 30 minutes at my previous car dealership. I don’t know your job well enough to tell you how to change that, but in today’s world, you must know that your customer’s time is valuable. Thanks for asking.

The woman who helped me, Kaylie, was great. Very friendly, she explained everything to me clearly and genuinely wanted to help. 10/10 service from her! I was taking my car in for an oil change and multipoint inspection, as usual. I also asked for someone to check my tire because my low pressure indicator light was on that morning. The tire had a puncture and it was fixed, but when I got my car back, the indicator light remained on. I went inside to let someone at the front desk know that my light was still on. I was told that sometimes that happens and to drive around for a bit and it will turn off. So I drove back to Des Moines and the indicator started flashing, but it was too late in the evening to go back.
I made an appointment to come back and have it fixed. This time, I was “helped” by a young man. He was not helpful at all. I was informed that I would be charged for another multipoint inspection and a flashing light indicated a sensor is broken, which I would also be charged for. This light was not flashing before I brought my car in. How am I being charged for bringing my car in for a fix and leaving with more trouble than I started with? I usually go to Firestone for tire care, but I thought I could trust the dealership to take care of me, but it seemed like the guy who helped me the second time, Logan, was trying to take advantage of me.
I drive from Des Moines to bring my car into Wilson’s because I’ve been satisfied in the past, but I’m simply not paying for a sensor that worked fine before your mechanics touched it.

When warranty service scheduled runs out, I will not be back.
