I was told there was over $4,200 worth of work that needed to be done on four various parts of the power steering which included the power steering pump something with a rubber gasket on it and the reservoir. Also and I was aware that my gasket needed to be replaced on my oil. I took my car then to the mechanic of a friend and there was nothing wrong with any of the power steering. The coolant reservoir needed to have a new caulking seal. It was just the coolant leaking down onto the power steering pump. The pump itself every part of it was fine. The cost was $1,100 not 4,200. I expected more from Wilson Toyota as this is where I purchased my car. Very disappointed!

She is so friendly and personable with her customers and I want to say how much I appreciate her. She keeps her customers updated on the progress of the vehicles being serviced and puts it into layman’s terms for me so that I can understand what is going on. Makenna was great and things were wonderful until about 2 hours after I picked my car up. I picked it up and everything was great and I was meeting with friends for dinner. After the dinner, two hours after picking my car up, my check engine light came on. I understand mistakes happen and it’s okay but as someone that drives two hours everyday it’s a little concerning.

I’m just completely happy with the whole experience today. I thought while I was up there today that I would try to get some new license plate frames and to my complete surprise there metal I couldn’t be happier Ryan P over in the new car department always texture of us couldn’t ask for a nicer guy. Every time I’ve been up there no matter who I deal with. It’s just outstanding service.

It was ridiculous to have to wait 2 hours for a maintenance check. It didn’t even include an oil change. Then I had to enquire if it was done when I saw it sitting outside. I drive 1 hour to get to Ames and 2 hours of waiting and an hour home. What a crazy waste of 2 hrs in Ames.

When I bought my Corolla I was told that the first 5 services would be free (5k, 10k, 15k, 20k, 25k) —- when I tried to schedule the 15k appt the service dept was so booked out that I was at 18k when it happened. At that point it was suggested to me that the visit should be the 20k appt to which I agreed but asked when will the next appt need to be? In 10,000 miles (for the 25k appt). When I checked in this morning (at 28k) I was told that since I was past the 25k mark the visit wouldn’t be included. So I not only didn’t get my 15k visit (at 18k) but now didn’t get my 25k visit (even though I scheduled it when it was suggested for me to do so). Also as much as I understand a busy schedule when I am there at 8am it shouldn’t be noon before I’m handed my keys back.

I feel some training needs done on remote services. Spent two hours in the shop and then spent three hours on the phone with toyota to get it fixed. Toyota care said work done at shop actually made issue worse. Wasted an entire day fixing something that the dealer should have known what to do.

I haven't got the vehicle fixed yet. It has been several months of waiting and hopeful it will be done by May. Kaley has been wonderful at keeping us informed, and we don't blame her.

15 minute appointments booked should allow for 5000 mile service to be done in less than 2 hours. A well managed dealership could do much better.
