I came in for an oil change, tire rotation, and recall fix. Spoke to the guy when I pulled in. He said oil change should be an hour. The recall would be longer. Ok. I’ll schedule the recall another day. I sit down to wait. He comes back to me and says I could go 10k miles instead of 5k for the oil change. I should do the recall and rotation which should take about 30-40mins. 100 minutes later, he comes back and tells me they rotated the tires but didn’t get to the recall. Sorry. I asked why and he said they were really busy. Over an hour and a half later. I calmly said I would be taking my car somewhere else and said, “great. That’s your option.”
If I ran my business like this, I wouldn’t have any customers. Glad you have so many that you don’t care about keeping the ones you had. Congrats.

I hold Dan Wolf in high regard and my comment in no manner is a comment about Dan's abilities. Dan was not present on the day in question. It was disrespectful and a significant waste of my time to leave me waiting in the service department for about 2 hours prior to telling me of the inspection that indicated a pressing brake issue that required leaving my vehicle overnight. The inspection should be completed early on, so I can make an informed decision about whether to stay and wait or go home.

Kaley was great. Wait time was unacceptable. If wait time was due to staff shortage, I feel your pain. However, maybe cut back on available appointments. But that won’t stop walk in customers. Stuck between a rock and a hard spot. I admit I am spoiled. Jay Wolf Toyota in Kansas City has a bigger waiting room and they feed you. Also complimentary car wash after service.
