I have no issues with Kaley, but do have an issue with the quoted repair costs for my daughters vehicle. Let's be honest, over $600 to replace a battery and pop a spark plug in a 09 Vibe/Matrix is ridiculous. A spark plug is $20, battery is $250 (both with a good markup) and labor is MAYBE 15min. and to be fair could have been covered during the time charged for the "diagnostic". Also charging an extra $20+ to clean a battery terminal when replacing the battery is B.S. as that is part of doing the job correctly... Assuming your diagnosis is correct, ill throw a spark plug in it in the parking lot on Sunday and swing by the parts store on the way home for a battery.

Jeremy was very friendly and personable. I’m just not sure why it took over 3 1/2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. This is the second time I’ve brought my vehicles there for service. Both times I had to call to check on progress because no one msgd me. At Toyota of Des Moines I’ve never waited more that 90 minutes for an oil change. I came to you because my daughter lives in Ames but I’m frustrated by this service. Again, Jeremy was very kind and personable. You just shouldn’t tell people a time frame Nd to expect updates when it’s not doable for your busy service team.

I was happy with the service and the information provided concerning the work done and the price which was done under 2 year 25000 mile warranty. I was not happy with having to wait almost 2 hours to complete an oil change, especially with a scheduled appointment.

It appears you overbook to maximize your efficiency while disrespecting the time of your patrons. I have had you do all my service for 15 years. I am considering going elsewhere in the future. The service, and employees keeping me updated regarding my car, were excellent. However, I had not expected to have nearly a two hour wait for an oil change to be completed. The wait seemed a bit excessive and long as I have never had to wait that long for an oil change/service of my vehicle when I have taken it to other facilities, especially when I had scheduled an appointment with a specific time for the oil change. The long wait was a bit of a surprise and disappointing.

I thought Brian was exceptional, however I don't think he had any control over what occurred during my appointment.I made my appointment a week and 1/2 ahead and picked the Tuesday 9.30am time slot. MCKENNA was supposed to be my advisor. Didn't meet her. To my surprise there was at least 25 cars (seems like there were 3 rows around the corner bumper to bumper from the work bays to the overhead doors.) ahead of me at 9:30 in the morning. I had scheduled an oil change,tire rotation,the recall on the driver side air bag and diagnose an issue with leaks in the rear axle. So I knew I would be there for a while but At 3:00 pm Tuesday my car was back in line waiting to be diagnosed.Short story long....spent 9:30 to about 4 waiting. Brian had left for the day and it was suggested by another advisor to come back the next morning (Wed)at 7:00am to address the rear axle leak and repair and finished up about 1 this afternoon. I checked the line at 9:30 this morning and there was only 1 car waiting to be moved into the work bays so I'm not sure what happened Tuesday morning? We've been doing business at Wilson Toyota since 2014. I've always waited for the car since we live in Marshalltown and always been very pleased. But probably will do things a little different next time. Thanks.
