Bought a new car with the promise to change out the rear view mirror. Was told that it had be ordered and they would call when it came in.never received a call so I called.They said they did didn't order because it was in stock.made appointment to put it on. Drove to Ames just to find out they didn't have the mirror and they need to order it.So process is starting over again. Lack of communication.

Zach was excellent. This was my second trip to Wilson and I would like to get in and out of there in less than 2 hours. Last night I was there for 2.5 hours and on my prior trip I was there for 3 hours. To be fair, both visits involved more than a standard service.

I had an oil change appointment and was told when I arrived they were behind and it could be 1 1/2 hours. It turned into 2 hours. As I left I noticed my oil change message was still visible. Erik came out to reset it which I appreciated. As I drove around Ames I noticed my speedometer was not accurate. I went back to the shop to have it checked. It turned out it had gotten changed to kph. I had never had that happen before so I didn’t know what it was. The tech had someone come out to show me what had happened. I appreciated that help as well. It seemed to be an unusual day. I will be back since this was not my typical experience at Wilson.

Although I am sympathetic to the difficulties in maintaining staffing levels, a 2.5 hour wait for an oil change is unacceptable. It encourages loyal customers to shop for other options.
The 3% up-charge for using a credit card is unnecessary and detrimental to overall customer satisfaction.
