I have bought three vehicles from Wilson Toyota. This week I wanted Wilson to replace my six year old battery when I arrived early for my 10:15 am appointment. I didn’t get the car back until 11:48. The cost of “labor “ was $99! I don’t think the tech who did actually did the work was paid very much for the simple battery swap. And why was there a charge for “shop parts “? On previous occasions we would want routine oil changes and tire rotations and it just takes too long to get service done at Wilson. I suggest you open up a separate “Express” location for routine maintenance service. And do a better job of scheduling appointments so a customer knows how long it will take. I hope you take my concerns seriously as someone who wants to continue as a customer.

Took almost 3 hours to complete oil change, inspection ,and tire rotation. I would not have waited had I known that. Suggest keeping front desk staff informed about the status so customers can make a decision. There was one other person there who was also surprised by that.

It took way longer than I expected. They didn’t call me to ask about additional work (filters) they thought needed to be done and so when I came back after two hours, I had their questions and additional time was needed. Then, I stayed for an extra hour, thinking the work was being done, and finally got my car back only to get a call later that night that somehow the filters weren’t done and I have to bring my car back! That’s really poor communication and very frustrating!!

I had a 9:30 appointment for points check & tire rotation. I was told the 9:30 was just a guarantee I would get in that day not the actual appointment time. With not living in Ames I can only wait. This time it was 1 hour & 10 minutes. Nor bad but fir the same service I've gotten in & out in 30 minutes. Just wish my time was just as valuable as yours. I was treated well & will be backas I do like Toyota parts on my Toyota van. I just need to be prepared to sit awhile and not make plans for other activities.

Still have not received my digital inspection to my phone. Waited 15 minutes to get checked out while my car sat outside. Waited 12 minutes before being acknowledged in service drive. Workers pretended I was not standing there, waiting. I tried texting my advisor and he wouldn't respond. Told me he was pulling me into line right away, and didn't update me when he Waited to pull it in. All I ask is for honesty, reliability, and integrity when I leave my vehicle in Wilson's possession. Bad first experience with my first free 5k Toyota care service. Will try again in 5k miles.

When I came to pick up my vehicle my driver’s side window was completely down. So, I am glad I was there shortly after it got done to get it or my window would have been down sitting in the parking lot.
