I wouldn’t necessarily complain about Lexus Escondido. They are ok. Consistently they just fall short of having a polished service. It’s the little things that make a difference between me coming back there or going to Carlsbad or Kearney mesa. Please note that I live in Escondido. It is rare that anyone is anything other than business there. They are definitely pleasant, but never any pleasantries. Overall it seems unpolished in Esc.
When I pull up, they question if I have an appt a bit too much. The SA doesn’t really provide details.
This time: Related to the system of record, the mistake was minor, yet despite my saying it isn’t worth the effort to fix it, he had to guess as to why multiple times, all of which didn’t add value. Bottom line, I am the owner of the car and financing, but my spouses name is listed as primary.
I wish my check out forms would say what work was actually done since the SAs don’t need to connect with the customer after service anymore.

Rental was assigned and my advisor Chris messaged me at 3:38 pm to pick up my vehicle. Your service desk closed at 4pm. I was trying to reach him many times but his phone was not answered. I called your service desk and Tanya was taking my message and she tried to transferred the calls took messages but he never called me.
I didn’t want yo be charged for the rental and was not sure.
I was frustrated because I couldn’t take the rental back by 4… I was not explained nor told that it would be okay to keep overnight…
My vehicle was left with your service people for few hours. I called myself yo find out when I didn’t hear back from Chris.
such frustration I had and in future I will not be giving my vehicle for overnight service.
