There wasn’t any communication when my service provider was on it of the office for a few days. Another person did not step in to call or communicate with me. I waited two days and had to contact a new person to get things going and get my car back.

Actual communication between Lexus and I was great but the day-to-day delay wasn’t fun. It seemed liked every day a part or shipment was delayed to complete the job and every call was conveyed as “its scheduled to come in tomorrow” - that was probably the worst experience in my entirety of being a Lexus Escondido client. It was essentially groundhog’s day.
What adds to my disappointment is how inefficient this was. It didn’t help knowing that it turned from a 110K mile maintenance job to a lot more. Yes, I certainly did approve of the additional work which 10x’d my final invoice but knowing this you’d expect a lot more in return coming from Lexus in terms of bringing the efficiency in turnaround time of a major job especially since your tech team diagnosed and made additional recommendations. I liken it to this…I know I’m paying dealership premium prices and not mom and pop shop discounts so the expectation from me as a client is higher, especially from a luxury car maker.
